I gave this area of service a special page because I believe working as a counselor to first responders is special work. Responders are a vital part of our society, but are also vulnerable in their exposure to cumulative trauma, and are often misunderstood by the public. I would like any prospective responder client of mine to know that I will do my best to “get” them, and I will serve them with the dedication and diligence with which they serve us.
